Berneville is a village one kilometre north of the Doullens-Arras main road (N25). From Arras after 7 kilometres turn right and the village is 1 kilometre from the main road. The graves are in the North East corner of the cemetery.


Burial details:

Shot at Dawn: 9552 Drummer Frederick ROSE, 2nd Bn. Yorkshire Regiment executed for desertion 4th March 1917, aged 23.

Shot at Dawn: R/16624 Rifleman. J. KING, 7th Bn. King's Royal Rifle Corps, 16th March 1917.

Shot at Dawn: 26685 Private Ellis HOLT, 19th Bn. Manchester Regiment. executed for desertion 4th March 1917, aged 22.

The mass pardon of 306 British Empire soldiers executed for certain offences during the Great War was enacted in section 359 of the Armed Forces Act 2006, which came into effect on royal assent on 8 November 2006.

There are also 3 Durham Light Infantry graves and 1 Royal Air Force burial of the 1939-1945 war within this cemetery
